Colour; Old Pine. A natural beeswax and carnauba wax blend for use on bare wood or previously sealed surfaces. Can also be used as a maintenance wax. Coverage; 5-10mª per litre. Available in a range of colours (see below). Packed in 400g, 5 litre and 20 litre sizes.
Apply with 0000 wire wool, short bristle brush, cloth or Scotchbrite Pad. Recoating can be done in about 15 minutes.
Usage on bare wood; Ensure a clean, dry and dust free surface. Fill if required. Apply one coat “Shellac Sanding Sealer” or “Cellulose Sanding Sealer”. Allow to dry, then sand. Apply one coat of Briwax Original, allow to dry and burnish with a soft cloth. Apply further coats of Briwax Original to increase durability and gloss level (not more than 3 coats recommended). Usage on sealed wood: apply Briwax Original, allow to dry for 15 minutes, burnish with a soft cloth. Reply a second coat, allow to dry then buff to give sheen. Maximum gloss level will be difficult to achieve unless the surface has been previously sealed.
Note! This product is not recommended for use in areas where it will come into contact with water or heat. Always test Briwax first to ensure there is no reaction with previously applied finishes.
Storage: away from heat and flame. Contains Toulene. Ensure good ventilation during application and drying and keep out of reach of children!
