Dozuki Nokogiri, with rip-cut teeth. 240 mm long
This is a saw suitable for fina work with a thin blade and a back bar that prevents the plade from bending. Handfinished by Mr. Ryoichi Kanzawa, sawmaster at Hishika Saws Co, Ltd.
Japaneese saws all work on the pull-stroke and should be used with only light pressure on the saw-pull and none on the back stroke. The teeth are different from European style saws and are very efficient and give a very smooth cut. It is possible to re-sharpen a Japaneese saw, but it is difficult. We provide You with the tools for that if You dare to try.
